SOMATIC BODY THERAPY

Somatic Experiencing is a type of trauma therapy which focuses on restoring self-regulation by releasing pent-up survival energy. Somatic therapy techniques release traumatic shock, leverage the body's innate healing abilities, and restore a sense of vitality, relaxation, and wholeness. You will learn how to enhance your capacity to identify internal responses to stressors, and mobilize that energy towards restoration and ease. Techniques such as body movement, breathe work, visualization, and energetic points are use during the session.
