VEDIC ASTROLOGY (JYOTISH)

What is Jyotish?

In Sanskrit, the word Jyotish, translated as “science of light,” refers to the profound and mathematically sophisticated form of astrology originating in the ancient Vedic traditions of India. Vedic astrology describes the planetary patterns at the time of our birth and can give us valuable clues to understanding our life’s journey. Through careful analysis of these cosmic influences Vedic Astrology can help us to realistically evaluate our strengths and challenges to optimize our full potential. Vedic Astrology offers practical remedial measures to alleviate areas of difficulty, giving us the confidence to manifest our true destiny and create success, happiness, and harmony on all levels.

What can you expect from the reading?

A Vedic astrologer is tasked with translating all the information in a person’s chart into plain language, so that it may be understood by anyone. Sessions are typically in the format of a conversation, intended to confirm the chart’s accuracy and explore any topics that are especially relevant during the time of the reading. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and you are always welcome to do the same. However, there are limits to any astrologer’s skillset, and I won’t be able to answer every question.

Are Vedic and Western Astrology different?

Definitely! Western Astrology uses the Tropical zodiac while Vedic Astrology uses the Sidereal zodiac, which directly connects with the positions of the stars in visible space. Vedic Astrology also has many tools for analysis and interpretation that are not found in Western Astrology.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING...

“I was just fascinated how lots of things rang truth. And the whole chart seemed very complicated and intricate.

It somehow gave me peace about what happened in the past, for an instance - tough years, were meant to happen.

It also gave me understanding of why and what's happening right now and when the new chapter will begin.

We live our lives blindly one step at a time not knowing what the future holds, but it gave me a sense that my life is this intricate tapestry and there's some sort of destiny unfolding.

Lastly, it made me more tolerable of other people. How we are born with different gifting and traits, and because of that we operate differently.”
