Service Description

We start this private session with slow and restorative asanas to connect with your body, focusing on the breath and creating awareness of the mind. We finish the practice with Yoga Nidra which is practiced lying down, so you can surrender completely and get all the benefits of the practice. During the session props, pillows, blankets, and anything that will help you get comfortable and restful are commonly used. During the session, I will guide you and take your awareness to different places through six series of steps (intention or Sankalpa, body awareness, breath awareness, emotional awareness, visualization, and re-integration or waking up.) Each of these steps is intended to take you deeper into an altered state of consciousness, the state between asleep and awake. Aside from relaxing and restoring, there is extensive research that shows the health benefits of Yoga Nidra. Some of these benefits are: - Ease insomnia - Decrease anxiety - Alleviate stress - Reduce symptoms of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) - Reduce the symptoms of chronic pain and chemical dependency - Transform negative habits, behaviors, and ways of thinking - Foster feelings of peace, calm, and clarity.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELATIONS 48 hours before the date of the service you will receive a full refund. SCHEDULING CHANGES You may change the time of an appointment 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time at no charge. NO SHOW OR LATE Esther will wait up to 15 minutes from the scheduled consultation time. If you are later than 15 minutes to your service time, it will be regarded as a "No Show" and you will be charged for that scheduled consultation time.
